Nicolás Pereda is a Mexican-Canadian filmmaker working at the intersection of documentary and fiction. In addition to screening his films at festivals around the world such as Venice, Berlinale, Rotterdam, and Toronto, Pereda’s work has been presented at several retrospectives in various museums and archives including Anthology Film Archives, the Film Society of Lincoln Center, the Pacific Film Archive, and the Harvard Film Archive. Pereda is the Director of the Filmmaking Program at Rutgers University.
